Divyang (PwD) Reservation: Out of the total 1200 posts, 72 horizontal vacancies are reserved for Divyangjan — 18 each for VH (Visually Impaired), EH (Hearing Impaired), LD (Locomotor Disability), and MD (Multiple Disabilities). These are included within each category’s Open posts. The Divyang candidates selected will be adjusted against their respective category.

Horizontal Reservation Details

⇒ Women Reservation: 35% of all posts are reserved horizontally for women (department-wise) as per MP Civil Services (Special Provisions for Women Appointments) Rules, 1997 (amended vide MP Gazette No. 304, 03 October 2023).
⇒ Divyangjan (PwD) Reservation: 1.5% each in 4 disability categories (VH, EH, LD, MD) horizontally.
⇒ Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Reservation: 20% horizontal reservation for Class IV posts as per MP Civil Services (ESM Reservation) Rules, 1985.

  • A waiting list of 15% of total selected candidates will be prepared (valid for 1 year or till new result, whichever is earlier)

Note: As per MP Government, General Administration Department order dated 12 December 2019, during the probation period (3 years), salary will be paid at 70%, 80%, and 90% of the minimum pay respectively. Full salary in the pay scale will begin after successful completion of the probation period.
