Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), has published an official notification (Advertisement No. 07/2026) at its website for recruitment of Senior Computer Instructor (Varishtha Computer Anudeshak) and Basic Computer Instructor (Basic Computer Anudeshak) Combined Direct Recruitment 2026 posts.
A total of 3,951 vacancies are being filled — 322 posts for Senior Computer Instructor (288 Non-Scheduled Area + 34 Scheduled Area) and 3,629 posts for Basic Computer Instructor (2,936 Non-Scheduled Area + 693 Scheduled Area). You can fill the applications online from 25 May 2026 to 23 June 2026 (11:59 PM). The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years as on 01 January 2027. ⇒ Nationality: Indian Citizen / Subject of Nepal / Bhutan / Tibetan Refugee (settled before 01-01-1962) / Person of Indian Origin migrated from specified countries (with eligibility certificate from Government of India).⇒ Educational Qualification for Senior Computer Instructor:
- M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)

⇒ Ex-Servicemen Special Note: Ex-servicemen with a certificate equivalent to graduation issued after 15 years of military service are eligible. Computer qualification is not mandatory at the time of application for ex-servicemen; it must be obtained before joining.
⇒ Health: Candidate must be in good mental and physical health, free from any defect that would interfere with the duties of the post.
⇒ Character: Must possess a character certificate from the last attended institution/university, with at least a “Good” rating.

Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/3 (one-third) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General category. 35% for SC/ST candidates (5% relaxation).
OMR Special Rule: Each question has 5 options (A, B, C, D, E). If a question is not attempted, candidates must darken option ‘E’. If more than 10% of questions are left without darkening any option, the candidate will be disqualified. Extra 10 minutes are given after the exam to darken ‘E’ for unattempted questions.
Normalization: If the exam is conducted in more than one phase/session, normalization process will be applied.

Note: During the probation period (2 years), candidates will be paid a fixed monthly remuneration as determined by the State Government from time to time. No pay scale, HRA, DA, or other allowances will be applicable during the probation period. After successful completion of probation, training and examination, and upon being found fit for regularization, the pay scale will be granted.
