Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), has published an official notification (Advertisement No. 07/2026) at its website for recruitment of Senior Computer Instructor (Varishtha Computer Anudeshak) and Basic Computer Instructor (Basic Computer Anudeshak) Combined Direct Recruitment 2026 posts.

A total of 3,951 vacancies are being filled — 322 posts for Senior Computer Instructor (288 Non-Scheduled Area + 34 Scheduled Area) and 3,629 posts for Basic Computer Instructor (2,936 Non-Scheduled Area + 693 Scheduled Area). You can fill the applications online from 25 May 2026 to 23 June 2026 (11:59 PM). The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years as on 01 January 2027. Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/3 (one-third) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General category. 35% for SC/ST candidates (5% relaxation).
OMR Special Rule: Each question has 5 options (A, B, C, D, E). If a question is not attempted, candidates must darken option ‘E’. If more than 10% of questions are left without darkening any option, the candidate will be disqualified. Extra 10 minutes are given after the exam to darken ‘E’ for unattempted questions.
Normalization: If the exam is conducted in more than one phase/session, normalization process will be applied.

Note: During the probation period (2 years), candidates will be paid a fixed monthly remuneration as determined by the State Government from time to time. No pay scale, HRA, DA, or other allowances will be applicable during the probation period. After successful completion of probation, training and examination, and upon being found fit for regularization, the pay scale will be granted.

Note: All certificates must be issued by the competent authority of Rajasthan. Certificates issued after the last date of application will not be accepted for category-specific benefits.


How to Apply — Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Read the Official Notification
Before filling the form, carefully read the full detailed advertisement available on the RSSB website http://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

Step 2: SSO Login
Visit the SSO Portal http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in with your SSO ID. Then select the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C) and click Apply Now.

Step 3: Complete OTR (One Time Registration)
If you have not yet paid the OTR (One Time Registration) fee, go to the OTR tab and enter your category (Unreserved/Reserved), disability status, and home state. Pay the applicable OTR fee (₹600/- or ₹400/-) through E-Mitra Kiosk, CSC, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card.

Step 4: Capture Live Photo
After OTR, the system will prompt you to capture a live photograph using your device camera. Ensure: well-lit background (white/light), face directly forward, no cap or sunglasses. Face must cover at least 50% of the photo. Do NOT use a pre-existing photograph or edit the image using any photo editor — candidature may be cancelled.

Step 5: Upload Signature & Thumb Impression
Sign within a rectangular box (7 cm × 2 cm) on white paper using black/dark blue ink. Upload scanned signature and left thumb impression (right thumb if left not available) separately in JPEG format (20–50 KB; 280×80 to 560×160 pixels).

Step 6: Fill the OTR Dashboard
In the OTR Dashboard’s ODV section, carefully select your educational qualification. Upload all required documents in the Document Details section as per the recruitment rules.

Step 7: Fill the Online Application Form
Enter personal, educational, category, and department preference details carefully. Fill the department priority order (Secondary Education / Sanskrit Education) accurately — changes will not be accepted later.

Step 8: Enter Visible Body Mark
Filling a visible body mark (Shareerik Drishya Chinh) is mandatory in the online application form.

Step 9: Preview & Verify
Use the Preview option (also check “My Recruitment” → Checklist tab on SSO Portal) to verify all filled information before final submission.

Step 10: Final Submit & Save Application Number
Click Final Submit. After successful submission, an Application ID / Form Number will be generated. Print and save the application form. If no Application ID is received, the application is NOT accepted — Preview alone does not mean submission.

Correction Window:
During the application period, corrections can be made at no extra charge. After closing date, a correction window of 3 days is available with a fee of ₹300/-. A final correction window of 7 days post-examination is also available with the same fee. Name, father’s name, date of birth, photograph, signature, thumb impression, and handwriting sample cannot be changed after Final Submit.
